The Regional Sales Manager - Northeast that supports our Gyros business has
responsibility for generating and building revenue through the sales of
Gyros' protein enabling products for bioanalysis throughout the defined
territory.
This is a Remote position with the preferred location being Massachusetts.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Achieve substantial and sustained sales growth in line with agreed goals
Prospect for new opportunities to develop a sizeable pipeline to maintain
consistently high sales volume
Visit customers, understand their needs and match Gyros products to those
needs
Manage sales funnel process (identify, contact, present, negotiate,
close) and record activities, opportunities, contacts etc. in the
company CRM [1] system.
Map the customer workflows and networks through drug development process and
outsourcing to CRO and CMO companies.
Work within a team environment to collate materials for the customer including
technical data and ensure there is a line of communication with the
applications team
Demonstrate the concept of key account management
Attendance at key conferences, trade shows and symposia, when required
Report projected sales using company templates in a timely and accurate manner
Generation of detailed countrywide and account wide maps to ensure a focused
business approach to the markets
Communicate market trends, industry news, product information and ideas to
marketing
Master the presentation of the Gyros platforms and technology
Stay updated on all relevant procedures and processes (SOPs) linked to the
role as defined by Gyros. The employee is also responsible to report back to
management if these processes need to be updated.
Report and document relevant information on customer activity in information
managements systems and to other functions within Sales & Marketing
department.
Maintain CRM system records
Qualifications/Education:
Required:
A minimum of a BSc. degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry,
Molecular Biotechnology, life sciences or similar.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Good communication and computer skills.
Previous sales experience in life sciences.
Preferred:
General knowledge of immunology, immunoassay experience a plus
Experience with ligand binding assays.
Experience within Life Science industry, preferably with analytical platforms.
Previous Capital equipment sales experience
Good analytical skills and the ability to understand customer problems and
move the problem toward solution
Experience with customer support.
Other languages written and spoken.
Good intercultural and social skills with ability to work in a team
Capable of multi-tasking and establishing strong working relationships.
Strong follow up skills as proven by good customer relationships.
Flexibility to travel and work additional hours if needed
Compensation/Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this
position. The package includes base salary, commission,
medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000.
