Mechanical EngineerPfannenberg Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of electrical enclosure cooling units in Lancaster NY and is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join our research and development team. The Mechanical Engineer must have documentation skills, completed course work in 3D modeling, completed course work in fluids, heat transfer and thermodynamics, a strong work ethic.Responsibilities and Duties are as follows:•Create and evaluate designs through 3D modeling (SolidWorks).•Create drawings and Bills of Materials •Evaluate company and industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement.•Work in ERP system including BOM management•Coordination with our commercial team to investigate questions from customers•Investigation and implementation of design changes•Support prototype builds in our cutting edge R&D laboratoryPreferred Experience and Skills:•Computer experience with emphasis on MSOffice products, CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
