We are looking for a motivated Optician to add to our well trained staff. Duties of the Optician include helping patients with frame and lens selection, sales, contact lens insertion and removal training, lens inspection and verification, and troubleshooting vision problems. The ideal candidate should have excellent people skills, professional demeanor and appearance. If you have previous experience in optical sales and dispensing, we'd like to meet you. We do offer on the job training that prepares the Optician to take the ABO to become Board Certified should they decide they would like to become Board Certified. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm and Saturday 9am - 6pm. The starting pay is actually $17.00-$25.00/hr. I am looking to fill this position pretty quickly. Experience is always welcomed but we will train the best qualified candidate.
