As the Development Lead, you will be responsible for steering the technology team's efforts in integration, development, data management, and reporting initiatives.

Job Description

We are looking for a Development Lead who will be instrumental in steering the technology team's efforts in integration, development, data management, and reporting initiatives. This position will be full-time and hybrid.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and direct technology team operations in integration and development tasks, ensuring efficient data management and robust reporting capabilities

  • Establish and maintain the overarching design vision, ensuring solutions are streamlined, innovative, and leverage the full potential of our chosen technologies

  • Critically evaluate design proposals to identify and address gaps, ensuring a cohesive and effective architectural strategy

  • Enhance transparency and understanding around design decisions, fostering a culture of informed and collaborative problem-solving

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring that integration and technology initiatives align with overarching project timelines and objectives

  • Contribute to the formulation of deployment strategies, conducting readiness assessments at critical project milestones to ensure successful rollouts

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the software application modules for implementation and customization

  • Supervise and guide the work of the legacy analyst and application developers, collaborating closely with application functional analysts to review and refine functional specifications

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical leadership experience on projects comparable in size and complexity, with a proven track record of managing security aspects effectively

  • At least 5 years of experience in facilitating compliance and ensuring adherence to security protocols for clients and stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and direct staff towards achieving secure, accurate, efficient, and timely service delivery

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a cooperative and collaborative work environment

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and tools

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Knowledge of data privacy standards and compliance regulations relevant to the project's scope

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
