Senior Project Manager/Regulatory Specialist - Fort Collins, CO
Trihydro, a top national environmental and engineering consulting firm, is
in search of an experienced Senior Project Manager in our Fort Collins, CO
office. In this role, you will play an important part in shaping our
petroleum and petrochemical industry client base, driving business
development, mentoring, and developing staff, and successfully
delivering projects throughout the country.
Technical Expertise/Project Management:
This position will allow you to apply your direct experience with petroleum
and petrochemical sector clients in a senior professional capacity. Core
skills and roles associated with this position include:
Proven Project and Client Management skills.
Ability to assemble and lead multi-disciplinary teams to successfully
execute complex projects.
Experience and technical expertise with core environmental regulatory
programs including RCRA, CERLCA, CWA, TSCA, and OPA. Ideally a
subject matter expert in one or more of the above.
Ability to apply the above regulations to develop value-added and
cost-effective remedial strategies for clients.
Proficiency in regulatory negotiations and collaboration with
stakeholders and clients.
Familiarity with mid-stream and downstream petroleum facility
operations, infrastructure, and business practices.
Remedial strategy development and implementation.
Ability and desire to lead and mentor staff spanning diverse experience
levels and technical fields, including engineers, geologists, and field
technicians.
Business Development:
The position will leverage your past success and current enthusiasm for
advancing business development and marketing initiatives. Business
development responsibilities include:
Assisting our regional business development leaders with expanding
Trihydro's work.
Networking and developing relationships at industry events,
conferences, and trade shows.
Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Contributing to or leading the development of proposals that align with
business development objectives.
Acting as a classic seller-doer to cultivate strong client
relationships, secure repeat business, and develop new client partnerships.
Project Delivery
The position will also rely heavily on your experience in project delivery and
demonstrated ability to not only meet but exceed client expectations while
ensuring profitability. The position will also provide you with the
opportunity to mentor and guide others in this field and will require you to
exhibit a willingness to perform in project manager, project director,
technical advisor, and client manager roles. Project delivery skills and
responsibilities include:
Demonstrating a thorough understanding of project management best
practices and the ability to train others in these tools. This includes
proficiency in project execution plans, utilization of earned value
assessment methods, milestone tracking, and more.
Maintaining excellent communication with client contacts, providing
updates on project performance, forecasting spend, and addressing emergent
chan
Leading multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of environmental
project activities, including site assessment, data management and
visualization, report preparation, remedial alternative evaluations,
design, and remedial implementation.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are
based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and
business considerations.
Summary pay range: $110,000 - $150,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
