Utilization Coordinator responsibilities include:
Coordinates utilization appropriateness and admission documentation completeness.
Communicates to and educates staff regarding utilization and paperwork issues.
One UR will be responsible for a minimum of 100 Medicare Admissions per month.
Requirements:
Associates or Diploma Nursing
Active/Clear RN license is required
Preferred Case Manager Certification
Preferred OASIS or Coding Certification
Experience:
1 year Case Management
3 years Home Care
