• The Contingent Change Management Engineer serves as Administrative Support to the Change Management Engineer (CME) as the CME is the air traffic controller of all changes coming into the Manufacturing/Production world, assuring that everything is complete, concise and parts are here to seamlessly incorporate the change into Operations. It is a cross functional position with knowledge of the transition of an Engineered Design into Manufacturing Documentation and Processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The main responsibility for the person in this role is to support the Change Management Engineer in their day-to-day activities. Those activities involve the following, mainly:

• Creating change notice tasks

• Updating and maintaining the controlled copy log

• Executing manufacturing bill of material update

• Costing requests

• Metrics reporting for change management

• Example: OCO (Operations Change Order) status (weekly, monthly, yearly)

• The creation and management of written change management procedures

• And other supporting tasks for the Change Management Engineer

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an effective communicator

• Experience with SAP-MBP, Windchill, familiarity with Bill of materials, Planning, and Change Management in an Operations/Factory environment is required.

• Knowledge of manufacturing document requirements

• Clearly communicate problems to appropriate personnel/departments/functions and aid in the resolution of the issue

• Broad understanding of business systems, organizational culture, and behaviors

• Treat unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn and adopt new techniques

• Respond effectively to unpredictable or unexpected events

Experience/Education:

• Demonstrated progressive experience in one or more of the abovementioned specific subject matter applications.

• 3+ years’ experience in change management for manufactured product
