Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

As a Machinist, your role will involve viewing drawings and blueprints to understand the required dimensions for cutting and shaping materials. You will operate various machinery, including saws, manual mills, and CNC mills and lathes. Your creative thinking will be pivotal in determining the most effective and efficient ways to cut the material into the desired shape and size. You will select the appropriate materials and tools to complete the job, such as calipers, drills, and mills. You will also be tasked with setting up and programming the cutting machines using CAD and CNC software. Inspecting the finished product to ensure accuracy is a key part of this role. Other duties and tasks may be assigned as necessary.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

You will be working on the first shift, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with optional opportunities for extra hours on Saturday and weekdays. Our machine shop is clean and climate controlled. We are recognized as a world leader in materials testing for various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, and Medical.
