Job Title:Sr. Financial Analyst
Location:Latrobe, PA or Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid schedule)
Job Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst supports the Americas Manufacturing team in providing financial information and analysis. This role works with all areas of the business and is intended to be a support to the Director of Finance, Americas Manufacturing. The Sr. Financial Analyst works with manufacturing operations to accurately forecast financial results, drive data-driven decisions and provide support on special projects. Performs various financial reporting and forecasting analyses in the areas of profit planning, cost containment, capital expenditures, and other areas.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed analysis of operational, financial and trend data; provide actionable information
Monitor key financial metrics including root cause analysis and presentation of detailed explanations to Business Leaders
Effectively communicate financial results to non-financial professionals and foster collaboration between departments
Track initiatives that support the business in achieving its strategic objectives
Set timetables and drive adherence to key financial processes and ensure that key inputs are considered
Support Business Leadership in the preparation of the annual budget and achievement of project initiatives, capital spending allocation and various projects
Provide analytics for labor and other benchmarking activities
Actively participate in month end financial closing and reporting
Drive business process improvements
Respond to customers in a timely fashion
Partner with peers to share ideas and collaborate on ways to improve financial processes
Ensure compliance with all financial policies and generally accepted accounting principles
Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates
Bachelor degree in related field required; Finance or Accounting preferred
5 to 8 years related finance experience, preferably in manufacturing
Excellent attention to detail, customer service orientation and timely follow through
Strong analytical skills (ability to recognize and resolve issues)
High energy and self-motivated person
Capable of being a self-starter in a fast paced environment
Experience in SAP is preferred, but not required
