| Technician position at Westway | |
| our crisis stabilization facility | |
| in Laurel, MS. The Active | |
| Treatment Technician will work | |
| under the general supervision of | |
| a registered nurse while | |
| assisting consumers according to | |
| treatment plans. This position | |
| has a significant role in direct | |
| consumer care and is a | |
| fundamental element in providing | |
| a safe and therapeutic | |
| environment for consumers. | |

| This is a Full Time position and | |
| Westway is a 24 hour *facility | |
| so weekends and holidays may be | |
| required. | |

| Responsibilities: | |

| - Accepts emergency/crisis | |
| calls. Responds to front-line | |
| first responder needs via | |
| telephone. | |
| - Triages calls according to | |
| intensity, service needs, | |
| critical timing, and | |
| assignment of staff. | |
| - Assists residents in all | |
| areas of physical care and | |
| hygiene of patients. | |
| - Documents client behaviors | |
| observed during shift and | |
| charts into Electronic | |
| Medical Records. | |
| - Participates in activities | |
| for clients. | |
| - Prepares, gives, and | |
| participates in instructional | |
| training. | |
