Description
We are on the lookout for a Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions and design, configure, and implement them.
• Manage the installation and configuration of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Conduct regular network performance monitoring and identify potential issues.
• Execute routine network maintenance and upgrades.
• Tackle network connectivity and performance problems by troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain tools for network monitoring.
• Uphold network security policies and procedures and ensure their implementation.
• Oversee the configuration and management of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents.
• Offer technical support to end-users and other IT staff and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure network alignment with business needs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about network-related issues.
Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Cisco Technologies.
• Extensive experience with Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Azure for various network operations.
• Solid understanding of OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks' products and solutions.
• Knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls and their application in network security.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Networking and its components.
