Overview The EQC Supervisor is an exempt mid-level management position
that reports to the EQC Manager. The EQC Supervisor is responsible for
organizing and carrying out the daily workload in the EQC department,
which includes overseeing the EQC laboratory and the performance of the
EQC personnel. The EQC Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and
coordinating customer orders and equipment inventory levels, completing
administrative responsibilities, reviewing calibration data, and being a
liaison between Electronics, Customer Service, Technical Support, and
Sales Departments. Essential Functions In conjunction with the EQC
Manager, organize daily lab schedule based on customer order and
inventory needs. Supervise and direct EQC analysts and technicians and
assist as needed to meet deadlines and maintain equipment safety stock.
Monitoring, printing, organizing, and scheduling customer orders via
Outlook and ERP system. Along with EQC Manager, coordinate ship dates
and communicate shortages with technical support and customer service
departments. Along with EQC Manager, review and approve calibration
data. Coordinate with other departments to maintain inhouse equipment
controls calibrations and updated firmware. Provide EQC department
training for QC SOPs and Operators Manuals. Interpret and support
quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with
quality standards and documents. Participate in team driven actions to
help improvements. Nothing in this job description restricts managements

any time. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: BS or equivalent in
Biochemistry or life sciences related field. Excellent attention to
detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency
with Microsoft Office. Advanced data analysis skills including the use
of basic statistical analysis and Microsoft Excel. 4+ years
GMP/GLP/GDP/QC experience. Available to work Monday through Friday
between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM with some flexibility. Strong
interpersonal skills, diligent and dependable. Preferred: Diagnostic
test or food industry (or other highly regulated industry) experience.
Previous supervisory experience. Ability to give and receive feedback.
Self-Motivated. Physical Requirements There are several deadlines
associated with this position, which may cause significant stress. The
person in the position frequently communicates with technical support,
customer service and sales representatives who have inquiries about
product and shipping confirmations. Must be able to exchange accurate
information in these situations. Must be able to remain in a stationary
position for an extended period; 60-90 minutes on average. Must be able
to often move about inside the lab to access office machinery, cabinets,
etc. Must possess dexterity to frequently and accurately operate
pipettes and handheld diagnostic equipment daily. Able to lift up to 25
pounds to occasionally move bins across the facility. Able to work 10 to
15 minutes in a cold room environment (4C). Must be able to detect
