KIK Consumer Brands – Pool Division
KIK’s Pool Additives Division (“Pool”) is a leading player in North America and key international markets with a broad brand and product portfolio spanning both the Mass and Specialty Retailer channels. We are well known for our Clorox® Pool&Spa™ products in the North American Mass channel, our BioGuard® brand in the North American, Australian and South Africa Specialty channel, and our Bayrol brand across Europe. Our multi-functional product formulations and innovative water testing innovations allow pool owners to safely and easily enjoy their backyard retreat.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals for the position of Inside Sales Representative at our Lawrenceville, GA office. This role will report to the Direct of Pro Sales.
Support field sales teams by proactively calling assigned accounts to achieve sales goals and meet revenue and OP income targets
Ability to act as primary contact for prospective new customers including gaining approval for credit, recommending products for initial orders, offering of specific marketing programs and pricing negotiations
Pricing negotiations on drive items with existing customers
Ability to negotiate settlements with customers for returned product, quality issues or pricing discrepancies
Prepare and present presentations as required at regional meetings, national sales meetings, internal meetings, etc.
Document all activity in CRM and schedule appropriate follow up
Participate in regional calls and meetings sharing best practices, ideas, suggestions and metrics
Participate in ongoing in-house training programs
Learn and prospect entry into CRM for sales distribution
Communicate with smaller, outlying customers that do not warrant on-site visits or frequent field sales support, in order to grow that business segment
Support sales and special market programs (i.e. brand launches, new product integrations, and key initiatives)
Proactive selling calls that will reduce SMOG (slow moving obsolete goods) inventory to targeted levels through sell-off programs, clearance sales, and other sales promotions
Four year degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Two years non-retail selling experience
Strong customer focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
