Aston Carter FNOL (First Notice Of Loss) Claims Assistant in LEAWOOD, Kansas

Description:

The First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Claims Assistant will be answering phone calls and sending them to the correct point of contact. Enter information and help schedule tow trucks or car rentals as needed. Need to be able to multi-task with multiple programs on the computer. Also 20%-25% of their day will be taking Status Calls from customers (i.e. general questions, inquiries, billing questions, or when unable to get ahold of their adjusters). Encompasses a variety of duties that provides support to the claims department such as answering incoming calls, completing SR1 forms, file jackets, photo copying, mail distribution, salvage logs, total loss checks, and dispatching assignments, etc. Current positions in this job classification are - Message Center, Mitchell Medical, Total Loss Clerk, Dispatcher and Subrogation Clerk.

Multitasking, answering calls and transferring to correct claims adjuster, data entry Must be open to taking care of the customer; especially when customers are upset! Diploma or GED Customer Service: Explain features and benefits about other products and services in order to attract potential customers. Contract Administration: Review contracts with customers, vendors, partners, and employees in order to ensure and protect the interests of all the parties. Documentation: Service Details: Track file and input all technical documentation in order to ensure all customer accounts correctly reflect the activity that was performed.
