Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role involves using prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring on complex control cases and machines. The individual will use a voltmeter to troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues, as well as assist the mechanical assembly department in hooking up panels on mining equipment. The position requires wiring various types of equipment for the mining industry, including systems up to 4160V. Knowledge of high voltage systems is essential.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring.
Perform electrical troubleshooting using a voltmeter.
Test voltage and repair electrical issues.
Assemble electrical components, including 480V and 3-phase wiring.
Wire electric motors and install electrical components.
Assist the mechanical assembly department in hooking up panels on mining equipment.

The position requires training on the 2nd shift in a non-climate controlled environment. The shop is well-kept, but work on mining equipment can be dirty.

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
