Overview
Performs quality assurance/analysis to assist in the development and implementation of new systems, the revision of existing systems, and provides project management for assigned special projects.
Provides and coordinates testing/programming resources for all applications. Creates and revises complicated multi-part test scripts and performs regression testing for multiple scenarios as needed for system build changes.
Visual Basic programming background and Epic background (certifications, Epic build experience) are a plus.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with Clinical Application teams to plan, design, customize and implement workflow test scripts to meet specific departmental and clinical testing needs.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical aspects of applications, as well as the operational details and work flows.
Troubleshoots and maintains test scripts; documents testing results and additional requirements for current and future workflows; participates in any custom testing as needed.
Applies detailed knowledge of system functionality to improve current testing and implement new testing.
Researches and resolves issues with Clinical Application teams as needed.
Provides training and assistance to team members.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent required.
Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
Project management skills, programming skills, and extensive knowledge of microcomputers desired.
