Physical Therapist
JOB SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist at St. Mary's Health System will be able to provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients. They will be responsible for performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the order of a physician or other accepted healthcare providers while observing precautions, indications, and contradictions. Monitor and evaluate the treatment effect and progresses the treatment program towards the functional goals established on the treatment plan of care. They will evaluate and treat patients per department protocols and establish a therapeutic plan of care, including long and short-term goals.
The Physical Therapy rehabilitation services at St. Mary's are provided in the outpatient and acute inpatient settings. Therapists partner with patients and other health care providers to provide PT services with the goal of maximizing patient's functional abilities and independence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelors degree required
BLS certification required
Experience:
· Valid State of Maine Physical Therapist license required
Other Skills Required:
· A strong history of teamwork and a positive attitude required.
· Must be adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment
· Must possess exemplary customer service skills
