Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site HR Business Partner support to the SOF GLSS program based from the Lexington, KY facility across multiple client groups comprised of exempt and non-exempt employees.
The selected individual will be responsible for HR initiatives aligned to business objectives and serve as a consultant to leadership on all human resource-related issues.
While serving as a coach and change agent, the successful individual will have responsibilities for influencing areas such as talent management (hire/retire), employee/labor relations wherein it will be expected that there be a partnership with functional experts to develop and implement integrated solutions.
The individual will need to exhibit a growth mindset wherein learning about the business and financials through interactive shadowing and partnering with client group to understand the work they do for the company will help define success in the role.
The successful candidate must demonstrate sound and collaborative oral and written communication skills while interfacing with various levels of LM personnel. The role will be one wherein the environment is fast paced and will require the ability to multi-task and balance daily competing priorities where excellent time management and the ability to prioritize is required.
The position does not require the management of recruiting or benefits related tasks, as COE's are utilized for this support.
This position will have flexibility to tele-work on an approved basis with the individual needing to be within a radius to address urgent matters that arrival on-site can be within 1 hour.
Basic Qualifications:
Notable experience in metrics/people analytics wherein data has been used to support HR initiatives/partnerships.
Prior Human Resource Business Partner experience in managing exempt/non-exempt employee populations.
Experience in employee investigations; and performance management; strong communication & influencing skills.
Experience in SAP-driven environments is helpful.
Experience in managing remote employee populations including international locations helpful.

SAP Success Factors experience/exposure
Advanced Excel Skills - pivot tables/charts; VLOOKUP

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Candidates that are not local must move to the Lexington KY area; the role is not part-time remote wherein same day arrival on location is not possible.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
