| Job Summary | The Production temporary crew member will assist the University of Kentucky Sports Video Department & other student staff members with the production of the live broadcasts of sporting events for SEC Network and its affiliated ESPN family of networks. As a crew member, the employee will play a vital role in these broadcasts. Crew members will receive training on a number of different roles (including Camera, Audio, Tape, Graphics, Engineering, Assistants, and possibly front-line roles with Directing and Producing). The crew member will be expected to be available for at least 50% of the Event schedule (on a monthly basis), which can be found on each sports schedule (website), but also is made available to students at least six weeks in advance. Better availability results in more opportunities to increase your skill level and learn additional roles within the SEC Network team. Crew members may also be assigned to work with the Video Board shows from time to time; any work on those shows will count towards their monthly percentage requirements for the SEC Network Production role. |
