Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Radar System Engineer to perform wideband radar system analysis and design, associated signal and data processing, radar calibration, testing, and data analysis. The Radar System Engineer will architect and design advanced radar systems. The Radar System Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating advanced radar signal and data processing algorithms. The Radar System Engineer will develop test plans to evaluate radar systems and/or subsystems to execute tests, analyze data, and evaluate performance. The Radar System Engineer should possess significant experience in RF systems, radar signal processing, statistical signal processing, and moving target detection and tracking.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field of study is required.
Ability to propose and explore new and innovative techniques and technologies and be able to understand how these new technologies can affect a radar system’s capabilities.
Experience with radar system design, development, and testing.
Significant experience in RF systems, radar signal processing, and statistical signal processing.
Effective communication with colleagues, sponsors, and other research sites.
Effective organizational skills with the ability to complete assignments working independently and in a team environment.
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.
Due to the nature of the work, an active Secret clearance is required.
