Imagine One Technology & Management Help Desk 3 in Lexington Park, Maryland

Imagine One is currently seeking a Tier 3 Help Desk Engineer/Information Systems Security Specialist ( HD Eng/ISSS )  who will be supporting cloud native, good faith compliance focused Information Technology (IT) efforts. The HD Eng/ISSS will provide Tier 3 customer support, along with security monitoring and activities utilizing Microsoft cloud and endpoint security systems.

Training can be provided to supplement an otherwise suitable skillset, adapting and growing is part of the position.

Experience Requirements:   

  • Experienced, knowledgeable, and regarded as a subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft cloud and endpoint security systems

  • Experienced with Help Desk operations and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems

  • IT infrastructure sourcing, deployment and maintenance

  • Developing and maintaining Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Configuration Items (CIs) and process documentation

  • Evaluation and assessment of compliance solutions for NIST 800-171 rev 2 / CMMC 2.0 level 2, ISO 27001:2022

  • Ability to recommend Cybersecurity solutions and controls to support requirements

  • Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause, and develop and recommend mitigations

  • Provide monitoring of special interest groups for cyber threat intelligence awareness

  • Anticipate security alerts and incidents/disasters to reduce their likelihood

  • Conduct Social Engineering attack simulations using Exchange Online’ s existing system

  • Vulnerability analysis of information systems and the ability to identify, report, and resolve non-compliant cybersecurity controls and weaknesses

  • Cybersecurity compliance and secure cyber posture with respect to availability, integrity, confidentiality, and authentication

  • Remediating vulnerability findings to include implementing vendor patches on both Linux and Windows Operating systems

  • Experience desired with Microsoft Cloud (365 and Azure) Administration 

  • Purview, Intune, Exchange, Defender, MS Teams / SharePoint 

  • Microsoft Desktop (Windows, Office) 

  • ServiceNow Administration 

  • Barracuda CloudGen Firewall Admin

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University and 10+ years of experience providing help desk support  OR

  • Comparable experience and

  • CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Security Requirements:   

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
