Cornell Dubilier is seeking a dynamic Senior Quality Leader to join our team in Liberty, SC, overseeing Quality and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives across our facilities in Liberty, SC, New Bedford, MA, and Mexicali. As the Senior Quality Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end product quality strategy, ensuring adherence to customer and military specifications while exceeding industry standards. This key leadership position involves spearheading the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust quality management systems and EHS programs to guarantee unparalleled levels of quality, reliability, and safety across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and management of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and EHS programs across multiple locations, aligning strategies with organizational objectives and customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to integrate quality into new product development and manufacturing processes, facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage supplier quality initiatives to build and maintain a strong supply base that delivers best-in-class quality materials.

  • Drive multi-site quality strategies, objectives, and metrics, ensuring continuous execution and alignment with cost/budget targets.

  • Act as the face of Cornell Dubilier with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies, addressing quality concerns and facilitating corrective action processes in a timely manner.

  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment that promotes safety, collaboration, and respect among team members.

  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for the quality team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management, preferably in the electronic component manufacturing industry.

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, and other industry standards, with experience in quality systems implementation and compliance.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques, including SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, and PPAP, to drive continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental sustainability practices, with the ability to ensure compliance across global operations.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the management of cross-functional teams and the ability to drive change and innovation within the organization.

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in customer interface and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.

  • Motivated, visionary leader with a passion for driving quality excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

We are committed to providing a competitive and fair total compensation package for all employees.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $100,000 to $135,000 per year.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining us, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
