Job Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System, supporting the Quality department in planning and execution of continuous improvement projects, and developing standard testing plans. Assist in advancing the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist with quality management system.

  • Monitor the quality of employee training and the safety standards required in the manufacturing process.

  • Document standard inspection plans.

  • Identify issues in the production process; update procedures and processes.

  • Assists Quality team in daily root cause problem solving.

  • Contribute to various quality continuous improvement projects.

  • Perform inspections using precision measurement equipment and devices.

  • Gain hands-on CMM inspection experience.

  • Maintain calibration records and communicating with outside suppliers of calibration services to ensure all instruments are up to date.

  • Complete any other duties as directed by Manager.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and solid models.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams to solve problems.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills, reading/writing/documentation, basic Excel experience, and attention to detail.
