Position Summary
The System Administrator is a hands-on technical role responsible for
maintaining and modernizing technologies within the CTS global
organization. This position requires advanced Windows and VM
Administration skills, with current hands-on experience in Microsoft
Server and VMWare technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely
with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Windows servers (2003
through 2019) and Linux systems.
- Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and
security.
- Install, configure, and administer VMWare ESXi/vCenter 7.0 / 8.0.
- Maintain virtualization infrastructure on global scale with latest
code release.
- Maintain Dell SAN storage infrastructure on a global scale latest
code release.
- Manage Dell/HP rack-mounted servers, blades, and chassis enclosures.
- Administer End Point Manager/SCCM for multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain Powershell scripts and or automation.
- Manage Active Directory (User Accounts / OU / Group Policies and
other features of AD).
- Good understanding Commvault on-pram and in-cloud backup solutions.
- Oversee Windows administration, authentication systems, log
management, and content filtering utilizing Splunk.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 7+ years of experience in Server Administration with associate
degree or 4+ years of experience with BS.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess
complex problems, propose practical solutions, and manage incidents.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet
deadlines.
