Air Mobility Command Recreation Aide (Summer Hire) in Little Rock AFB, Arkansas

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Little Rock AFB, AR - Outdoor Recreation. This position is guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can be scheduled to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Physical Effort - May operate one or more motor vehicles to include light to medium duty trucks, passenger vans, and utility vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds on and off base. Responsibilities Performs and/or assist other Outdoor Recreation (ODR) assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of ODR facilities and equipment. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: set up of recreation areas for scheduled activities; taking reservations and payments for all ODR programs; equipment check in/out to include inspection of equipment condition upon return; checks the safety and cleanliness of ODR facilities, areas and equipment. Will assist in the cleaning and light maintenance of all ODR equipment and facilities, to include campers, bounce houses, emptying trash cans, picking up litter, and cleaning of restroom/bathhouse facilities. May assist in the answering of phones. Act as ID checker, registrar, and cashier for base pool entry and concession sales. SUMMER HIRE POSITION WILL NOT EXCEED THE DATE OF 30 SEPT 2021.
