Lockheed Martin Computer Systems Analyst in Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas

Description: Assists and supports the Local Area Network (LAN) engineer install, maintain, repair and enhance the Local Area Network (LAN) to guarantee system operation. Assists users (including Main Operating Bases) install, troubleshoot and effect repairs to software and hardware (work station PCs, network servers, back-ups, and associated equipment) malfunctions. Installs new computer hardware and software as directed. Responds to customer requests to ensure electronic classroom and computer based training equipment is ready for training. Prepares, issues, and maintains laptops used to support C130 Training students. Loads courseware as it is released from Configuration Management to ensure training material is current. Researches and provides specifications for hardware and software to support logistical requirements for replacement, repair or enhancement of the system or associated equipment. Assists Configuration Management in maintaining inventory records for both hardware and software components. Teaches classes for users as new equipment/software is introduced. Provides training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and combination of Eight (8) years hands on experience in network maintenance. Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE). Five to eight (5 to 8) years’ experience in network analysis or hardware troubleshooting and repairs in a real time environment. Experience must be current. Must have worked in an environment where candidate was required to interact with multiple functional areas of a diverse nature.

Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

• Expert in resolving user issues with Microsoft Office suite of products.

• Certification in SSCP, A+, or NETWORK+.

• Must be highly organized, able to establish priorities and complete tasks on deadline.

• Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, an ability to plan and forecast tasks to meet multiple deadlines.

• Experience in network maintenance and analysis

• Experience in server maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation

• Experience in applying regulatory guidance (AFI 33 series, DOD 8500, NIST standards) to IT infrastructure current structure and projected capabilities

• Strong oral & written communication abilities and proven ability to instruct classes on variety of IT related topics.

• Solid ability to organize and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
