Reports To: Maintenance Manager and/or Shift Manager
Job Summary:
Conduct the work necessary and execute results in the general
maintenance department by maintaining and repairing machines, electrical
systems, structures, and facilities. Assist in informing employees of
cost effective, safe practices as they relate to equipment utilized.
Responds to maintenance calls as needed in addition to daily routine
maintenance tasks assigned by the direct supervisor. ** Safety
sensitive due to working in different processes; using different tools,
equipment, and machineries; laps of attention could result in injury,
illness, or death.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct the general plant maintenance activities by maintaining
machines, electrical systems, structures, and facilities as
instructed by your supervisor.
- Ensure quality of repairs, methods applications, scheduling of work
is feasible with work team available, assist in layout changes,
assist in determining the cause of malfunctions and the extent and
nature of repairs and types of materials or parts needed.
- Plan and organize assigned work to utilize skills and ability to
obtain the most favorable repair costs, quality of workmanship, and
to prevent interruption of production schedules.
- Work closely with production to schedule opportune times to make
repairs.
- Asist in determining the need for and extent of repairs, maintaining
stock repair parts, requisition needed parts through purchase or
work order system, and plan for and schedule repairs. Work with the
Maintenance Manager to review work and your supervisor will make the
purchases.
- Coordinate the preventive maintenance activities of the company.

and company.
Requirements:
- High school or vocational school graduate.
- Special trades coursework including but not limited to electronics,
electrical, HVAC, Pneumatic, hydraulic principles, and other trade
basic beneficial.
- Individuals will work with varying types of energy.
- Required to wear issued personal protective equipment.
