About the Role
You will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of our 7-acre campus,
including 7 buildings
that clients and team members use daily to transform the lives of over
3,000 homeless and
near-homeless individuals each year.
What Youll Do
? Assist the Facilities Manager and Operations Director in making sure
Our House is a safe
and healthy environment for our staff and residents
? Help maintain Our House property such as grounds, buildings, and
vehicles
? Assist in general maintenance on items such as HVAC, grounds
equipment, minor
plumbing, etc.
? Report any issues that may arise with buildings and equipment that
require major repairs
? Develop good relationships with department heads and directors to
assist with needs
that are within your ability
? Maintain a professional relationship with residents, job trainees, and
clients that are
receiving our services and working on the facilities team
? Provide clear communication with staff when action is needed to ensure
the
environment is safe of hazards
? Aid in the occasional task of helping direct traffic flow and parking
for events that are
held on our campus
? Assist vendors when needed for inspections or repairs to our campus
? Conduct other duties as assigned to fulfill Our Houses mission
What Youll Bring
? Background in building and grounds maintenance preferred
? Ability to perform assigned job task in a timely and efficient manner
? Reliability and punctuality to perform daily duties
? Willingness to continue learning and growing if opportunities are
presented

Requirements
? Must be able to pass criminal background checks, child and adult
maltreatment registry
checks, sex offender registry checks, and a pre-employment drug screen
