Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking an extraordinary Executive Assistant who exemplifies the adventurous spirit and is ready to support the Retail Wireless Marketing & Product leadership team. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. They will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to executive and C-Suite management. Given the ever-changing nature of the executive landscape, we rely on our assistant for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidences related to high-level systems and operations. They also need to have the ability to keep calm in the face of pressure, while ensuring operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reserving conference rooms, screening emails and phone calls

  • Refining and maintaining internal processes that support the executives and overall department

  • Managing communication between leadership and employees

  • Liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks

  • Serving as onboarding liaison to ensure new hires have a smooth transition

  • Acting as an office manager by managing office supply inventory and ensuring office equipment is available and operational

  • Coordinating seating arrangements for the team

  • Managing sensitive and confidential information related to travel, expenses, vendor relationships, disciplinary actions, pay rates, appraisal scores, and promotions

  • Organizing department meetings and functions throughout the year

  • Collecting and processing expense reports

  • Networking with other executive assistants, executives, VPs, and Directors to form positive, long-lasting relationships

  • Teaming with IT and Facilities groups on systems and department issues and requests

  • May require minimal after-hour support - evenings/weekends

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university

  • 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with office tools and applications (e.g., computers, phone systems, copiers)

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once

  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge

  • Self-sufficient and able to prioritize work with little direction

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to work well with staff at all levels from individual contributors to the CEO

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of excellence

  • Strong Google Suite skills, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Google Meet. Experienced with LinkedIn and iOS and Android devices.

  • Familiarity with ChatGPT or other GenAI tools

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
