Overview
$1,000 sign on bonus payment for Maintenance Technician new hires!!
The $1,000 bonus payment will be paid on the payroll after the completion
of 6 months of employment.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technicianto set up and maintain
machinery and the facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience with both facility maintenance and
machine maintenance/set up. The Maintenance Technician will need problem
solving and time management skills.
Base Rate - $25.00
Shift Diff - $2.50
Total R ate $27.50
Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
Training Schedule: 1st shift for min of 3-6 months (Mon-Thurs days)
Responsibilities:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing
preventive maintenance requirements on sealers, motors, pneumatic tools,
conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams,
sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and
engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation;
listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive
maintenance techniques.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to
determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and
supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to
accomplish job results.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and
requests.
Interpret specifications, blueprints and operation manuals.
Operate vehicles, as needed.
At times will be required to escort or accompany vendors on the production
floor

The candidate must have good skills to operate, troubleshoot and repair
technical machinery. The must have knowledge of electrical and machine
systems.
Adhere to all CPI Security requirements
Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Safety Program.
Must be able to work flexible hours as required.
One year certificate from college or technical school (studies in electrical
and/or mechanical systems); or two years related experience and/or
training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, Write, and interpret blue prints, general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients.
Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
Ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bat graph.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.

Occasionally they will be exposed to working conditions where they work in
