Job Summary
The Automotive Body & Paint Technician lI will perform auto body and paint support for programs. The Automotive Body & Paint Technician Il will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions.
As an Automotive Body & Paint Technician lI, you will be responsible for:
Surfacing and painting prototype components and vehicles
Maintaining vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders
Keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
Participating in daily shop organization and clean-ups
To be considered as an Automotive Body & Paint Technician ll, you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the auto body field
Ability to operate shop equipment
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work overtime and weekends
Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures
A successful candidate may also have:
Certificate in Automotive Body Repair or related
Experience in surfacing panels
Experience in show car painting
