| Interaction with the customer and understanding the scope of work to |
| be done. Resource planning/estimation towards the input received, |
| project and program management. Study of the Aerial lift truck |
| assembly line and benchmarking the existing processes. Develop work |
| measurement using Basic MOST & Identify each task as value added or |
| non- value added work by part number. Coordinate with new product |
| introduction team and providing build support. Support different |
| phases of build and update the activities, times and work |
| instructions accordingly. Develop and Optimize work stations by |
| enhancing the process as per PFMEA and control plan recommendations |
| and applicable countermeasures. Provide build support and ECO |
| (Engineering change management) support for Aerial lift truck program |
| and other upcoming programs as assigned. Record the build based PIR's |
| for root cause analysis and resolution both for in-process assemblies |
| and driving tier1 supplier actions from quality improvement |
| perspective. Technical assistance to the offshore team in creating |
| Assembly Work Orders, validate Routing Accuracy, establishing |
| Standard time, Manpower Projection and Line Balancing, creating |
| Standard Work Element Sheets, and Product BOM Management. Identify |
| and apply value added / non value added classification to each task |
| (Due to limitation in Proplanner in regards to VA / NVA |
| Classification. Conduct ergonomic analysis on each operation and |
| publish ergonomic risk levels on each operation. Study operation |
| video and analyze operator movement / posture for all work done by an |
| operator for every station on the assembly line, being physically |
| present at the shop floor. Manage the Engineering & Manufacturing |
| change orders on the shop floor specific to standard times and |
| ergonomic evaluation due to product and process changes on a |
| continuous basis. Prepare work packages for offshore team to generate |
| work instructions & release the same in ERP system post obtaining |
| customer sign off. Validate the quality of deliverables. Prepare and |
| present weekly project status to customer. Quality matrix tracked & |
| identify the training requirements. Develop and maintain technical |
| documentation and project reports. Track project status through MPP |
| (Microsoft Project Plan). |
| |
| Bachelor's Degree in Production or Industrial Engineering with two |
| years' experience required, foreign equivalent accepted, 40 hrs a |
