E&R Machine Inc. provides manufacturing services to numerous industries. We are looking for CNC Machinists to join our team in Lockport, NY.
Responsibilities: * Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine correct machining techniques and methods of operation on CNC machines. * Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, sawing, turning. * Check the quality of parts being made on site. * Check the workmanship of each part being made on site. * Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures. * Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner. * Work overtime as required to meet production needs. * Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: * Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications. * Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. * Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. * Ability to work independently with little supervision. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks requiring immediate attention.
