Job Overview:
To work under the Package Managers to ensure post award execution is being managed effectively by the equipment suppliers. The Field expeditor will act as the focal point in the supplier manufacturing facilities, raising any issues and concerns from both internal and external parties.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Field expediting, expecting to be at the suppliers fabrication as and when required by the Project (Expected 80/90%). Report writing, admin work etc can be WFH
Ensuring Suppliers are fabricating to the schedule
Ensuring the MDR engineers are providing the correct documents to allow the suppliers to fabricate on time
Removing any bottlenecks by liaising with supplier and Project in a manner that the issues are clear to both parties
Reporting to the Package Managers/Expediting Manager/PPM/SCM and the Project in a clear and concise manner
Ensuring external and internal Document submissions are on time. Raising to the correct persons if they are not
Ensure on time delivery of equipment
Clear and concise reporting to the Project
Vocal on issues holding up fabrication internally and externally
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Engineering / Quality qualifications as a preference but industry experience is the priority
Experience in (E&I, Mechanical, Rotating, Static, Valves, umbilicals, PLEM, Pipeline, bulks etc) delete as necessary
Plus 10 years of expediting experience is a necessary requirement.
Preference for Package Management experience
Plus 10 years of industry experience
Person must be well experienced in expediting and Field Expediting
Person must be well experienced in understanding fabrication schedules
Person must be well experienced in liaising with internal and external parties.
Person must be fluent in English
Person must be comfortable managing upwards
Person must have good communication skills
Must be fluent in English, both written / oral
Must be able to manage key internal and external stakeholders
