Your role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly-commercial Propositions Manager to join our fast-paced, high-impact Customer Marketing team to support News UK’s objectives to grow digital subscriptions and revenue for The Times and Sunday Times.

You will manage the consumer proposition strategy for The Times and Sunday Times, taking ownership of the business casing and commercial performance of our propositions as well as continued evaluation and optimisation of propositions post launch to drive lifetime value. The role will be a mix of business strategy and execution with a good measure of project and stakeholder management.

Day to day you will:

  • Develop and deliver the strategy for compelling and commercially-driven propositions to scale subscriber and revenue growth

  • Research and analyse customer trends, understand the competitive landscape and conduct research alongside insight and data teams to underpin all decision making around future pricing and product portfolios.

  • Build business cases for new propositions, working closely with the finance and commercial teams to size initiatives and measure performance against goals

  • Project manage the executional development and delivery of all new propositions, with a clear roadmap to enable effective prioritisation of a diverse workload

  • Collaborate effectively across the organisation influencing stakeholders to get key business priorities implemented and conveying the vision for The Times’ propositions

  • Develop a test and learn approach to new propositions working with the Acquisition team to develop a testing roadmap

  • Monitor and communicate the performance of propositions to the wider business, and propose innovative ways to continue to optimise ROI

  • Lead a talented and energetic Propositions Executive to drive the performance of the Propositions team.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Relevant experience in a propositions team, preferably within a high growth digital consumer business.

  • Have strong analytical skills and have demonstrated ability to use data and research to identify trends and opportunities to define, develop and optimise customer-facing propositions.

  • A proven track record of leading and executing projects in a cross-functional organisation balancing conflicting priorities.

  • You have experience in multi-variate testing across customer cohorts.

  • Proficient at finance modelling to help build business cases.

  • A creative thinker who thrives on coming up with new solutions to drive subscriber growth.
