About our Team
The ICIS UX Team is growing, passionate and multiskilled, supportive group of UX Designers, UI Designers and UX Researchers. We run regular team meetings including our daily standup and our weekly Design Critique to stay connected and provide peer review and feedback on each other's work. We also regularly present to the wider business to disseminate, collaborate, and celebrate all the great research and design the team has delivered. ICIS is part of the UX community at RELX, our parent company, which has 100s of UX Researchers and Designers working across a range of sectors. The RELX UX community offers a range of opportunities to collaborate and hosts in-person and online UX meetups throughout the year.
About the Role
As Senior UX Designer you will lead and support the design of our industry leading platforms and digital experience. You will have proven experience leading teams across a variety of projects – from greenfield to optimisation of existing products.You champion and deliver using established best practices and refine your ways of working depending on the project and requirements. You will be experienced in working with big data, designing for complex domains and problem spaces. You will be confident in providing context for your work, and coaching other team members in ways of working, processes and design practices. You have a solid understanding of the principles, capabilities, and limitations of AI technologies and DaaS platform.
Responsibilities
Championing and delivering customer centric solutions by putting the customer at heart of everything you do. Data lead and data informed decision-making being your mantra.
Using design proven process’ from discovery to delivery. You will challenge the status quo, working as a team, advocating for the customer, and bring our vision to life in a way that feels inspiring,
Collaborating closely with engineering and product management to create category-leading products that deliver value for our customers, and for ICIS.
Working at the cutting edge of technology, working with big data and designing for artificial intelligence (AI) and DaaS solutions.
Requirements
Possess passion and experience working with big data and designing for artificial intelligence (AI) and DaaS solutions.
Have a solid grasp of AI principles, capabilities, and the limitations of AI technologies and DaaS platforms.
Prioritise defining, clarifying and solving complex problems, in a complicated domain.
Demonstrate your process, analysing data and creating user workflows, wireframes/mockups, design exploration and interactive prototypes.
Can demonstrate ongoing learning, staying up to date with emerging trends, are curious and love to explore new domains.
Uses research insights and data to inform and drive decisions, iterating your work based on testing and data analysis.
