Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

We are looking for a sales passionate person, who can spot an opportunity and be creative in taking them for a positive outcome for the Client and our business. As a Territory Account Manager, you will be working and progressing within the ICS system, in various settings across secondary and primary care. You will take the lead on delivering commercial goals for Lundbeck brands, through implementing locally developed business plan, agreed in conjunction with Sales Access Manager and Brand team. Your essential responsibilities will cover:

  • Deliver agreed sales contribution for the region, within budgeted expenditure

  • Produce and monitor implementation of detailed Account Plans

  • Identify key trends in the NHS environment and pro-actively identify business/partnership/collaborative working opportunities that will be of mutual benefit to Lundbeck UK, its customers and patients

  • Building relationships and influencing customers directly and indirectly, utilizing all means of communication, as identified in the local business plan

  • Drive formulary and guideline development within the region and follow through on implementation

  • Negotiate effectively with customers and NHS accounts to ensure Lundbeck UK commercial and financial goals are met

  • Responsible for managing local budgets and ensuring investments in joint working activities that will meet the local agenda and drive sales

  • Identify Key regional Opinion Leaders at both payer and clinical level, and work with other Lundbeck stakeholders to ensure effective management plans for these OLs

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams i.e. Marketing and Market Access and Medical to develop assets that will benefit Lundbeck’s value to its customers and deliver company financial goals

  • Ensure provision of accurate and regular reports to capture progress in the prioritised accounts

  • Support Lundbeck activity at a national level when required

  • Ensure compliance with the ABPI code of practice

The position is Field based for Territory T10, which covers:

  • Kent & Medway ICS

  • South East London ICS

  • South West London ICS

  • Surrey Heartlands ICS

  • Sussex ICS

Your future team

Becoming part of Lundbeck UK, your position will be based anywhere within the territory, and you will be a member of the local team of 29 professionals reporting to the Country Manager. Your direct team will be 5 experienced salespersons, that are passionate of supporting people in restoring brain health and share Lundbeck values of open culture and collaboration.

What you bring to the team

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or science but not essential

  • Demonstrable key account management experience and client-oriented mind-set

  • Experience of successful managing and influencing formulary groups and similar UK influencer groups

  • Proven track records in commercial roles within the healthcare industry

  • Experience of working within an NHS management function

  • Driver’s license

  • ABPI qualification is a must
