How does this role contribute to our collective success?
Working within Controls and Customer Operations to assist the Control Operations Manager by:
Providing oversight to Underwriting tasks.
Preparing Lloyd’s, regulatory and internal committee reporting.
Monitoring accuracy of data and distributed reports.
Develop new approaches to Operational Process to enhance efficiency.
Maintaining Customer and Control policy and procedural documents.
What will you do in this role?
Management of the Data Exception process and associated reporting, including:
Underwriting Control
Conduct Risk
Wording and Contract Certainty
Complaints Analysis
Ensures business underwritten complies with:
Lloyd’s and other Regulatory Principles,
AXIS Underwriting Framework:
Underwriting Protocols,
Guidelines,
Letters of Authority
Monitor accuracy and review completeness of data entry to ensure validity of:
Exception Reporting
Performance returns
Regulatory returns
Domicile adherence
Undertake thematic reviews, including;
Root Cause Analysis
Process creation and amendment
Risk Review
Underwriting Documentation
Oversee change and create underwriting documentation ensuring review and sign off
Fully document all process explaining purpose, risk mitigation and methodology

In this role, you will typically be required to:
Report to the Control Operations Manager any deviation from Underwriting Framework, regulatory requirements and controls.
Show initiative and supply potential solutions to challenges faced by the operations team.
