Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor, reporting to the Senior Manager of Machining, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, exempt position located in their Long Beach location.
The Machine Shop Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our machine shop, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and safety protocols are upheld at all times.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, and tooling.
Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted - Proven leadership abilities with a track record of team management.
Previous experience in a supervisory role in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to standards.
Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements. null
