A plastics manufacturer in Long Beach is looking for a Quality Technical Auditor.
The quality technical auditor's main objective will be to audit the processes put in place by the quality control department. THEY MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH THE INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS AND UNDERSTAND HEATING AND COOLING PROCESSES.
They will monitor the process of each run from start to finish ensuring all proper inspections and paperwork have been completed prior to the run and after the run.
They will be the first pair of eyes to see the over all project and the last to inspect everything ensuring all proper documentation accompanies each product.
Will be working with older equipment - Cincinnati Milacron
Automation and robotics are a plus but not required.
An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with plastics and injection molding.
Must have work experience in Quality Control/Assurance/Inspection.
The Auditor will oversee the production process and ensure all steps are being followed. They will make adjustments to keep production moving.
