Seeking a tool crib attendant at a local aerospace company in Long Beach. The ideal candidate will have the following:
• 2 years as a tool crib attendant
• Receives, stores and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, measuring devices, materials and/or supplies.
• Assembles new tool kits and upgrades and maintains existing tool kits. Ensures accurate distribution and tracking of items
• Maintains database of issued, damaged, worn out or missing equipment. Researches and orders new or replacement tools.
• Maintains shop/maintenance supply inventory.
• Fabricates/grind nonstandard tooling to specifications supplied by engineering.
• Set tools ready for production, using a tool offset pre-setter.
• Ensure the accuracy of the ERP system through accurate data entry and proper documentation for all ordering and receiving activities.
