Process technician:
Key responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor blown fish extrusion equipment, including extrudes, die heads, and cooling systems.
Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal protection conditions, including temperatures pressure and film thickness.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment materials and film quality during production runs.
Conduct regular quality checks on the film to ensure it meets specification for thickness, gauge and other properties.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address production challenges and implement improvements.
Maintain accurate records of production data including machine settings material usage and quality control results
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations including proper handling of materials and waste
Assist in training new operators and technicians on equipment operation and best practices.
