The Great Escape Room is looking for a full-time Carpenter to join its growing team at their workshop in Longwood. This position will be to construct our Rooms, Props, Parts & pieces for puzzles in our experiences. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with construction.
We currently have 15 locations across the Eastern US. This position will include workshop time for prop design and construction and also travel for repairs and new room installations. Travel is usually no more than 1-2 weeks per month, but this will vary depending on scheduled companywide projects.

DUTIES (but not limited to)
-Utilize CAD drawings or rough sketches to construct props, puzzles, parts & pieces for escape room experiences (preferred)
-Repair broken parts, pieces, puzzles, and props when received from locations
-Safely use hand and power tools
-Maintain a clean and functional workspace.
SKILLS NEEDED:
-Carpentry skills including using table saws, drills, routers, sanders and hand tools.
-Ability to hang and finish drywall, add wainscoting and siding to interior walls
-Be able to read & understand CAD, build drawings, tape measures & levels
-Must be able to follow instructions and processes
-Detail-oriented
-Must be able to work as part of a team
-Have good problem-solving skills
-Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
-Must have reliable transportation
-Willingness to learn new skills
-Great attitude!
SKILLS PREFERRED:
-Proficiency in CAD program
-Ability to learn and master our CNC machine programs

Salary: $18-26 per hour
