Description

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a local non-profit organization. This role is pivotal in providing essential administrative support within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Office Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies. Administrative Support: Assist senior staff with calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination. Document Preparation: Create and format documents, reports, and presentations. Communication: Serve as a key contact for inquiries, managing stakeholder communications effectively. Event Coordination: Aid in planning and executing events and outreach activities. Record Keeping: Maintain and organize office records and files. Data Entry: Accurately update and manage databases. Qualifications: Experience: Prior administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy in task execution. Interpersonal Skills: detail oriented, friendly demeanor with a commitment to supportive teamwork.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role in a non-profit organization.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Experience with database management and basic bookkeeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of non-profit organizations.

• Must legally be authorized to work in the United States.
