Assistant Product Manager- YEEZY

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Be the consumer and product expert

  • Assist in executing the category direction

  • Work with all creation functions to deliver product concepts and product excellence

  • Supports in creating product ranges under supervision to achieve category goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PM/SPM in preparing the range direction, in the second step start to manage range direction with the support of the superior

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to enable a smooth product creation process with an optimum product outcome

  • Utilize data insights to analyze range performance

  • Maintain product information systems and understand process timelines to support cross-functional team in achieving seasonal goal

  • Understand and analyze market, consumer and retailer needs to be able to create industry leading products

  • Show understanding about the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given time frames

  • Knowledge of product information systems and the interlinking functions

  • Execute key initiatives and provide input for short-term and long-term vision for product strategy, positioning, and category

  • Support in preparing presentations, maintaining team documents, sample tracking and organization

  • Manage product lineplans and rollouts

  • Support the creation team to implement given CtC (Concept to Consumer) direction for relevant ranges in partnership with CtC counterparts

  • Execute given projects within a discussed frame

  • Proactively communicate on an on-going basis with team, supervisors, and cross functional teams to ensure deliverables and decisions are met

  • Support pricing strategy and pricing architecture

Key Relationships:

•Develop relationships and ensure constant dialogue/feedback with

  • Business unit and across other BU´s

  • Cross-functional team ( Design, Development, CtC, Brand Comms, Materials, Costing, Planning)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Be open for change, support execution of change management,and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty

  • Cooperate well and effectively to maintain and develop trustful relationships

  • Problem solving attitude & can-do personality. Proven ability to find avenues to success in the face of challenges

  • Work independently as well as part of a team, ability to support others in a team environment

  • Knowledge of respective product category

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and facilitation (small and large groups) skills

  • Convey information clearly and effectively

  • Plan and prioritize daily working time effectively with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • College degree, preferably business/marketing/fashion or equivalent relevant experience

  • Global mindset

  • Minimum 1 year of Product Marketing experience with APP, FTW, or ACC Background

  • Fluent in English

  • PC skills (MS Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel)
