Part-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Summary:
Wantable Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our fast-paced and growing apparel manufacturing branch. This on-site position requires 3-4 hours of work per day, 4-5 days a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently manage various bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Orders: Review, scan, and track changes in purchase orders and cutting tickets to outside vendors. Ensure all documents are complete and updated in the shared drive.
Proforma Invoices: Compare Proforma Invoices with purchase orders, and coordinate with corporate for necessary deposits.
Packing Slips: Verify incoming merchandise packing slips against purchase orders or cut tickets, note discrepancies, and scan/save the slips with purchase orders.
AIMS Management: Close purchase orders and invoices in AIMS, ensuring accurate documentation and verification.
Invoice Reconciliation: Ensure a three-way match between invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips. Reconcile cut tickets to the invoice and submit approved invoice packets to the Corporate Accounts Payable department.
Shipping Documents: Close invoices (shipping documents for corporate) in AIMS after verification in Milwaukee.
Inventory Reports: Run monthly inventory reports for month-end, including fabric, trims, blanks, care tags, and materials issued to vendors.
Petty Cash Reports: Prepare and submit monthly Petty Cash reports.
Additional Duties: Perform other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
1-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Experience in the apparel industry is highly desired.
Familiarity with AIMS software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
