Jacobs Digital Project Controls Leader (Senior Manager) in Los Angeles, California

What you’ll do:

  • Lead project budget/cost management (e.g., project cost and commitments tracking, project cost forecast, labor, and other direct costs monitoring).

  • Lead the preparation of project monthly reports, weekly change management reports and the program’s online dashboard.

  • Develop and update CPM schedules in P6.   

  • Use e-Builder, Unifier, Primavera P6, Oracle, Prism- Contruent, Procore, Power-BI, and Kahua, as well as Python, XML,SQL coding.

  • Develop intuitive and informative dashboards using Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access, SQL), XML, and Power BI.

  • Manage commercial operations, with an emphasis on project controls and financial issues.

  • Participate in program/project progress and status review meetings.

  • Communicate schedule status regularly via formal and informal meetings and reports. 

  • Collaborate on new techniques and standards.

  • Apply advanced techniques and analysis Independently.

  • Periodic travel will be necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Minimum 10 years of project cost controls and project/construction management experience with extensive Primavera P6 scheduling experience

  • Expertise in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis and variance analysis

  • Ability to develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors

  • Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 resource loaded schedules and cost loaded schedules supporting forecasting and multi-year planning

  • Program Management related experience
