Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for PIH Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you’ll oversee culinary operations at our Off Wilshire Grill, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for patients, staff, and visitors. You’ll lead a talented culinary team, maintain high standards of food quality, and bring creativity to the menu. If you have strong kitchen management skills and a passion for delivering top-notch food in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you join our team!

What You'll Do

  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital: Catering, Retail menus, LTO’s,

  • be responsible for Food and Physical Safety and annual training for all hourly associates

  • Procurement: Work with vendors on procurement items. Responsible for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits

  • improve and standardize catering and banquet services, create menus based on client needs

  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
