Description
Mike Cox of Robert Half is in search of a Financial Controller to become an integral part of our Beauty/Cosmetics team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring financial stability and supporting strategic growth. You will also manage a small team, maintain and refine financial controls and processes, and generate accurate financial reports.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all aspects of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ensure financial stability by effectively managing and improving financial controls and processes
• Generate accurate financial reports and provide insights to support strategic growth
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM for efficient financial management
• Use NetSuite for advanced financial operations and inventory accounting
• Engage in auditing to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage budget processes to ensure optimal allocation of resources
• Lead a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Utilize knowledge of 3M, ADP - Financial Services, and Crystal Reports for efficient financial management and control
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records to support retail operations.
Requirements • Minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry
• Proficiency in 3M
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CRM and Crystal Reports
• Excellent understanding of accounting functions
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Proven ability in auditing
• Profound knowledge of budget processes
• Experience with inventory accounting
• Familiarity with NetSuite is required
