TEKsystems Front Office Administrator in Los Angeles, California

Description:

  • Basic day would be office administrator, verifying eligibility and benefits, calling patients, scheduling, checking in and out, and modify and request authorizations

  • Tasks within system and keeping them organized, call referrals and claims that they can get corrected. Answering calls throughout the day while taking care of patients walking in.

There will be one other Front Office Administrator so they will not be alone.

The office will get very busy at times with multiple patients waiting, phone ringing, and walk-in traffic.

Must be able to handle high-stress and multi-task to keep things under control.

Skills:

Front desk, Administrative support, Data entry, Emr

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years – work experience – medical experience,

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • High level customer service, good keyboarding skills,

  • Preferred knowledge of payors, insurance verification, knowledge of compliance rules with medi-care and medi-Cal and HMO

  • Preferred Knowledge of Nexgen

Bilingual in Spanish required
